Acts of Wisdom Trips

Come with us on one of our exciting Trips. Our trips are both working trips as well as sightseeing trips. You will experience books being delivered first hand. You will help with planning, hang out with the kids and families of the villages, and experience the culture of Ethiopia. You will also get to see the beauty and wonder of what is Ethiopia.

We use the site We Travel to sign up for our trips. We Travel is a great way for us to have folks sign up, keep updated on the trip, and one of the best features is that it has a built in fundraising tool for participants to raise funds for the trip.

OUR NEXT TRIP IS SEPTEMBER 21-October 2, 2018.

Cost is $3000 all inclusive except personal merchandise and tips. A $500 Non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking. Remainder of the balance is due 30 days prior to departure date. The price is subject to change at any time based upon airfare rates.

Mission Trip 2014

Never in my life did I think I would be someone 'going to Africa', it just wasn't on my radar...and then God called AND provided. The whole experience was fascinating, the resourcefulness of the people is unbelievable. One amazing thing I experienced was seeing the excitement and joy about education from the people there. Not just the children, the adults also take education very seriously. They are driven by the fact that education will help them and their people. I will be forever changed having been there. When God calls and we are brave enough to step out of our boat, we WILL be forever changed. I guarantee it!

Hear From Laura Goodwin Mission Trip 2015

I felt honored to go on the the trip to Ethiopia, but my experience was nothing close to what I expected. Here was a village in stark poverty, where the kids wore the same clothes every day, and yet all I saw was God's joy in their hearts. They had nothing and yet they had everything. They were thrilled to see us and thankful for the blessing of the books that we brought. These simple books (books we take for granted at our schools) were going to change their lives for the better. They were thrilled to learn. I saw what a huge impact these books would make in their lives.
