School Supplies and Buildings
Acts of Wisdom’s primary goal is to make the schools we serve some of the top schools in their areas. And we are doing that. From providing school books, and school supplies, expanding classrooms, building libraries, and ensuring the teachers have the proper materials to teach, Acts of Wisdom has brought down dropout rates from 35% to .9%, and our schools are at the top when it comes to students’ performance.
Orphans
We also provide housing and support to orphans in and around the communities where our schools are located. Through donor support of $35 per month, we have found that we can supply an orphan with food, vaccines, school supplies, uniforms, and housing. Many orphans who have entered our programs are now the top-performing students in their classes. Acts of Wisdom is committed to ensuring all orphans attend college to change the trajectory of their lives. We want to create the Acts of Wisdom home for orphans connected to each of our schools that will provide adequate housing for our students and enable a greater impact.
