​Eye-opening, life Changing, humbling, awe-inspiring, exhausting, and heartwarming. Our trip with Acts of Wisdom was all of that and so much more. The kindness and knowledge of our local guides felt like we were traveling with extended family. After all the sights, songs, and smells, people we met, friends we made, the food we tasted, and the history we touched, my daughter and I will be forever changed by the experience.​

​Never in my life did I think I would be someone going to Africa. It just wasn’t on my radar. The whole experience was fascinating, the resourcefulness of the people is unbelievable. One amazing thing I experienced there was seeing the excitement and joy about education from the people there. 

“The trip” was nothing close to what I expected. Here was a village in stark poverty, where the kids wore the same clothes everyday, and yet all I saw was joy in their hearts. They had nothing and yet they had everything. They were thrilled to see us and thankful for the blessing of the books we brought.
